Searching for new Physics with the Higgs

abstract

In this talk I will discuss how both production and decay of the Higgs can be used to discover new physics. On the decay side, I will focus on kinematic distribution in the Higgs decay to four leptons to show how those can be used to make measurements that are complimentary to rate measurements, and can be used to discover, for example, CP violation. On the production side, I will focus on new colored states such as stops modifying single and double Higgs production via gluon fusion.
