Floating black holes in warped higher-dimensional bulk

abstract

Black holes provides a mean to investigate the nature of strong gravity. However, the nature of black holes in various modified models of gravity has not been clarified. In particular, black holes in brane world is understood little, although various brane models were shown to predict something similar to four-dimensional Einstein gravity in the weak field regime. In this talk, I would like to talk about some possible exotic nature of black holes in the models with a warped extra-dimension.
