Phenomenology of Higgsino NLSPs.

abstract

The distinct collider phenomenology of gauge mediation is driven by decays of the lightest MSSM superpartner (the "NLSP") to the gravitino LSP. In the simplest model of gauge mediation, the NLSP is either bino or stau. I will discuss another well-motivated possibility: mostly-Higgsino NLSPs, which can decay to Z, Higgs, or photon plus gravitino. In particular, I'll discuss how long-lived NLSPs can lead to distinct collider signatures that demand the full use of the timing and pointing capabilities of LHC experiments.
