"...everything worth saying, and everything else as well, can be said with two characters." W.V.O. Quine

I am a theoretical physicist working in string theory and gravity. I am an Associate Professor in the Theory Group, University of Texas at Austin. Before coming to UT I was a Professor at Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad de Colima, Mexico. I am originally from Perú. I am an active member of Siembra-HoLAGrav, a Latin American network of holography and gravity.

I have worked in different aspects of gauge/gravity duality, supergravity solutions and holography --see Research pages for more info. Currently my interest is focused in the relationship between quantum information theory, gravity, and spacetime. Entanglement is a beautiful word.
