Exploring a Famous Irrelevant Deformation of \({\cal N}=4\) SYM

abstract

We revisit the leading irrelevant deformation of \({\cal N}=4\) Super Yang-Mills that preserves sixteen supercharges. We consider the deformed theory on the cylinder and investigate its integrability properties in the planar limit. We also comment on its holographic dual.
