Secretly Asymmetric Dark Matter

abstract

This talk will present a framework for building quantum field theoretic models where dark matter has its cosmic origins in an asymmetry, while the overall dark charge is conserved. In this scenario, the dark matter relic can be symmetric at late times, with annihilation rates larger than those expected for thermal WIMPs. We shall consider a benchmark model, and experimental bounds on this setup.
