Self-Interacting Dark Matter from a Non-Abelian Hidden Sector

abstract

I will discuss how hints that dark matter may interact with itself with surprisingly cross sections can be naturally accommodated in a theory in which the dark matter is a bound state of a confined dark non-Abelian gauge group. Both versions where the dark matter is a dark glueball or a dark glueballino are explored. Interesting and varied phenomenology is expected in this kind of theory.
