Carving out the Space of Conformal Field Theories
abstract
Conformal Field Theories have numerous applications, from condensed matter systems, to quantum gravity, to playing a role in Beyond the Standard Model physics. I will discuss recent progress at understanding the behavior that is possible in CFTs in D>2, focusing on constraints on operator dimensions that follow from crossing symmetry and unitarity.
