General Argyres-Douglas theory

abstract

We construct a large class of four dimensional Argyres-Douglas like field theories using six dimensional construction. We write their Seiberg-Witten curve, calculate their spectrum, their central charge a and c. The three dimensional mirror for some of the theories are also discussed. The RG flow between them can also be studied which can be used to test a and c theorem. These field theories are the important building blocks for the construction of new asymptotically free gauge theory. We discuss the classification of four dimensional N=2 gauge theory using these Argyres-Douglas theories. Wall crossing phenomenon of these theories will also be discussed.
