Higgs phases of gravity: the status report

  abstract

I will review the recent progress in constructing of consistent low energy effective theories describing gravity in the Higgs phase (massive gravity). I will describe the possible patterns of symmetry breaking, briefly outline the emerging phenomenology and discuss the challenges for completing these models in a consistent microscopic theory.
